Carlos Santana played an unforgettable night yesterday September 17, 2008 at the Smirnoff Music Center. He prepared and played his best hits along such as "Oye Como Va", "Black Magic Woman" and of course, the smash hit single from 1999, "Smooth", are staples of Santana's catalogue.
There are times when the stars align in just the right way and something, or in this case someone, of epic genius is created. This is the case when Carlos Santana first picked up a guitar.
Once Santana moved from Mexico and took up station in San Francisco, CA, he formed his own band, fusing rock and blues into his own stylistic creation and immediately established a rabid following. As his popularity rose the venues he played at increased in size, culminating in a legendary, incendiary performance at Woodstock in 1969.
Four decades later Santana continues to perform to amazed audiences, in awe of what this man can do with a guitar. Songs such as "Oye Como Va", "Black Magic Woman" and of course, the smash hit single from 1999, "Smooth", are staples of Santana's catalogue. He has created over thirty records in his career, won numerous Grammy Awards, including a record tying nine in one year for his work on the album, "Supernatural" and is a member of the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Santana’s band played until mid night and Dallas fans enjoyed his performance a lot, and after his concert Nautilus Entertainment interviewed him at the after show party: “I love to play in Dallas; this is a cosmopolitan city, and every time that I return to Dallas I find more people than before.” We enquired about his next album release and he replied: “We will lunch in the month of February 2009. He send sad farewell to the Dallas Mexican residents, stating that he will return soon.

On July 15 Dallas Zoo prepared an Adventure Visit for a Buck
Susan Eckerd Manager of Communication Department at the Dallas Zoo gave us an outstanding tour and her can do attitude and her excellent communication skills where a plus. She explained to us why Dallas Zoo prepared for the public and showed to Nautilus News the new exhibits such as Amphibians, a trip to Stingray Bay. We appreciated the bottom of the sea with every one’s favorite invertebrate on the SpongeBob Square Pants™ 4D adventure ride. Also, we enjoyed watching penguins play in their pool, see others frolics, and meet Jenny, the word oldest gorilla. We noticed that at The Dallas Zoo on these day employers where so busy helping and answering questions; they did an outstanding work helping others. We noticed that the Dallas Zoo need better signs so people won’t get lost and people would not ask for information each time; for example, near the carousel nobody knew where to buy and get coins. Also, we needed directions to the nearest ATM machine to get some cash.” Probably today we beat last year’s attendance” said Susan Eckerd.
It was an excellent cloudy day and more than 26,000 visitors attended at The Dallas Zoo. Many people took a trip using public transportation Dart. The Dallas Zoo says “Thanks” to the public for its support throughout the year with special admission price of $1.00 all day. On this day, there were Dollar deals throughout the day, including $1.00 food items such as hotdogs, chips, drinks, ice cream, pop corn, donuts, and more. On the Zoofari Market were specials and a selection of gifts for $1, $2 and $3.00.
