Carlos Santana in Dallas

Carlos Santana played an unforgettable night yesterday September 17, 2008 at the Smirnoff Music Center. He prepared and played his best hits along such as "Oye Como Va", "Black Magic Woman" and of course, the smash hit single from 1999, "Smooth", are staples of Santana's catalogue.
There are times when the stars align in just the right way and something, or in this case someone, of epic genius is created. This is the case when Carlos Santana first picked up a guitar.
Once Santana moved from Mexico and took up station in San Francisco, CA, he formed his own band, fusing rock and blues into his own stylistic creation and immediately established a rabid following. As his popularity rose the venues he played at increased in size, culminating in a legendary, incendiary performance at Woodstock in 1969.
Four decades later Santana continues to perform to amazed audiences, in awe of what this man can do with a guitar. Songs such as "Oye Como Va", "Black Magic Woman" and of course, the smash hit single from 1999, "Smooth", are staples of Santana's catalogue. He has created over thirty records in his career, won numerous Grammy Awards, including a record tying nine in one year for his work on the album, "Supernatural" and is a member of the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Santana’s band played until mid night and Dallas fans enjoyed his performance a lot, and after his concert Nautilus Entertainment interviewed him at the after show party: “I love to play in Dallas; this is a cosmopolitan city, and every time that I return to Dallas I find more people than before.” We enquired about his next album release and he replied: “We will lunch in the month of February 2009. He send sad farewell to the Dallas Mexican residents, stating that he will return soon.
