On July 15 Dallas Zoo prepared an Adventure Visit for a Buck
Susan Eckerd Manager of Communication Department at the Dallas Zoo gave us an outstanding tour and her can do attitude and her excellent communication skills where a plus. She explained to us why Dallas Zoo prepared for the public and showed to Nautilus News the new exhibits such as Amphibians, a trip to Stingray Bay. We appreciated the bottom of the sea with every one’s favorite invertebrate on the SpongeBob Square Pants™ 4D adventure ride. Also, we enjoyed watching penguins play in their pool, see others frolics, and meet Jenny, the word oldest gorilla. We noticed that at The Dallas Zoo on these day employers where so busy helping and answering questions; they did an outstanding work helping others. We noticed that the Dallas Zoo need better signs so people won’t get lost and people would not ask for information each time; for example, near the carousel nobody knew where to buy and get coins. Also, we needed directions to the nearest ATM machine to get some cash.” Probably today we beat last year’s attendance” said Susan Eckerd.
It was an excellent cloudy day and more than 26,000 visitors attended at The Dallas Zoo. Many people took a trip using public transportation Dart. The Dallas Zoo says “Thanks” to the public for its support throughout the year with special admission price of $1.00 all day. On this day, there were Dollar deals throughout the day, including $1.00 food items such as hotdogs, chips, drinks, ice cream, pop corn, donuts, and more. On the Zoofari Market were specials and a selection of gifts for $1, $2 and $3.00.
